more of the time, as it has a usable mid-range obviating the need for revs.
Other markets can opt for a 2.8 - litre
diesel, which is
more powerful and
torquey but doesn't quite meet the emissions regulations over here yet.
Where the
torquey diesel motor has
more than enough go, the efficient 1.4 - litre petrol feels
more than adequate and works well as a chauffeur driven car.
