The biggest change can be noticed at the rear end, with the Fiesta now sporting horizontal taillights that give the car
more visual width.
Not exact matches
There might be less
visual information vertically here than on the old fullframe DVD, but
more is gained in the
width.
The main impression when you see it up close for the first time is the added
width brought to the rear haunches, which extend out by 3.3 inches
more than the front fenders to provide it with some serious
visual intent and instant distinction.
Changes to the front of the car, including moving the fog lamps» position outwards within the front bumper, are designed to add greater
visual width for a
more stable overall look.
Inspired by the 2013 Kia Provo concept, slim combination lamps running along a horizontal parallel are joined together by a strip that runs the
width of the rear, while the turn signals and reversing lights are separate, located lower down to add
more visual weight to the lower half.
Those lights are now oriented vertically, helping give the Land Cruiser
more visual height rather than
width, as the old, fatter taillights did.
The matting and frame
width can give the art
more visual weight and significance.
For each wall, I went with an odd number of panels in alternating
widths to give it
more visual interest.
