I never would've thought to choose that, even though I wanted to add some cozy warmth — I loved the blue and
white because it is just such a spirit lifter to me whenever I walk in But now that addition of soft browns with a few
pillows and the ottoman, some cranberry in the throws and
pillows on my couch, make the room even
more cozy and still refreshing with blue and
white!

In that final photo, I think the bright blue and
white pillows look out of place with the
more muted hues.
Seriously LOVE the new look though... just thought you were trying for a bit
more western... I saw the Charlie
pillow and love the
white walls and red with the distressed wood, both the stairs and the banister.
I don't actually call my style this to others but in repsonse to this Q I'm thinking «Ballard Barn»:)... neutral different yet complementary gray toned walls throughout our open concept home downstairs... darker wood floors... leather sofas... newly remodeled
white kitchen...
white cabinets on perimeter with gray Quartz counters... large Old world mahogany island with creamy granite that looks like marble with
more colors with chrome pulls on both... lots of textures throughout (grain sack
pillows, chunky handmade by my mom throws)... artwork from my talented teenage daughter (straight knock off of Ballard styles of 3 horses.

I have the same
white couch as you and have been using pops of blues in my throw
pillows but I think I am wanting a
more neutral look for fall.
As I have a little house and need
more space, I one day decided to do something about extra doonas &
pillows to daughter's friends, I bought plastic toolboxes (big,
white one) that fit under her bed.

Orange - red fabric on window shades, chair cushions, and banquette
pillows bring in
more color, while solid yellow fabric covers the curved banquette and
pillows in a yellow - on -
white pattern alternate with orange.
The wine linen upholstery is brought out by the
white trimmings, the tufted buttons add to the look of coziness which is further enhanced by the bolster
pillows in the same wine color with
white stitching, and the sturdy hardwood frame is complimented by five wooden legs — the fifth is in the middle of the bottom part to add
more stability.
