xylitol, and the adrenal gland issues are new too, so I'm not really sure what triggers me yet (except caffeine, that really triggers me) it could just be a coincidence with the

As far as sweeteners go, I've experienced the opposite - an occasional treat made with
xylitol and stevia hits the spot, but honey makes me crave
more honey!

Xylitol that is easier to find even in supermarkets (although I'm not a big fan of it, it causes digestive issues if you eat
more than 50 grams).
This is definitely down to individual tolerance but based on my experience,
Xylitol is
more common to cause digestive issues.
Like other sugar alcohols (
xylitol, mannitol etc) it has a slightly laxative effect and it is not recommended to consume
more than 50 gm per day.
While on the candida diet or if diabetic, the only sweeteners that should be used are stevia or
xylitol (read

Some sweeteners like stevia, Erythritol or monk fruit extract contain very little carbs while others like
Xylitol or Tagatose contain
more carbs.
The method I used for calculating net carbs in inulin - based sweeteners is similar to what I used in case or Erythritol /

xylitol, and it has zero insulin response, while
