So in addition to the Top 10 of the year, I wanted to share a couple more posts — these are the posts that I actually liked or feel represent my year of writing, even if no one else liked them or tweeted about them, even if they are an out - of - fashion style of blogging like story - telling or moment - capturing.
As some have commented here and elsewhere, this is probably more of a «sabbatical» during which I will refocus and rejuvenate In all my years of blogging, I have never taken a Sabbatical, and one is long overdue.
While I've already blogged a recipe for Nankhatai last year, this one is all the more festive due to the addition of saffron.

I've been blogging for nearly 7 years and it's become more than I ever dreamed of but taking a little time away now and then is good for the mind, body and soul.
I'm thinking of slightly switching up my uni degree to swap law for photography and continuing with the creative writing, so probably going to be blogging and photographing a lot more next year!

That's in large part what my blogging has been about all of these years — addressing topics like home birth, circumcision, cosleeping, vaccinations, child - led weaning (breastfeeding), babywearing, home schooling, unschooling and more.

I have started my fashion blog only a year ago, because I always thought it was too late to start blogging, but after I started my blog, I have the chance to do what I am passionate about and I have more things to be proud of, its definitely worth it, I think I would regret if I never did it.
