So in addition to the Top 10
of the
year, I wanted to share a couple
more posts — these are the posts that I actually liked or feel represent my
year of writing, even if no one else liked them or tweeted about them, even if they are an out -
of - fashion style
of blogging like story - telling or moment - capturing.
As some have commented here and elsewhere, this is probably
more of a «sabbatical» during which I will refocus and rejuvenate In all my
years of blogging, I have never taken a Sabbatical, and one is long overdue.
While I've already
blogged a recipe for Nankhatai last
year, this one is all the
more festive due to the addition
of saffron.

MORE TIME AT THE TABLE.
I feel like I've made a little
blogging family and look forward to many
more years of writing.

I've been
blogging for nearly 7
years and it's become
more than I ever dreamed
of but taking a little time away now and then is good for the mind, body and soul.
I'm thinking
of slightly switching up my uni degree to swap law for photography and continuing with the creative writing, so probably going to be
blogging and photographing a lot
more next
year!
Here's to many
more years of delicious, healthy

That's in large part what my
blogging has been about all
of these
years — addressing topics like home birth, circumcision, cosleeping, vaccinations, child - led weaning (breastfeeding), babywearing, home schooling, unschooling and
more.
One
of the things I did in the past
year without
blogging was to plug into my kids activities
more.
I became
more aware
of the dangers
of high sugar intake in American diets when I began
blogging 6
years ago, and made diabetes a platform issue for my website, PaulasHealthyLiving.com.
Moving on, maybe I recall the
blogging of years past through rose colored glasses but I remember so many
more voices and so many
more real lives on display.
I started
blogging about a
year - and - a-half ago because I noticed myself becoming
more and
more addicted to the world
of fashion
blogging: I would wake progressively earlier each morning just to look at the latest posts on my favorite blogs before work.
I am Niesha, Editor
of Indian Beauty Forever, a Science graduate turned Beauty Blogger from New Delhi who's
blogging for
more than 3.5
years and loves everything related to Makeup & Beauty.
I am so honored to be a part
of this as I have known Tiffany for over a
year or
more now and while we have collaborated several times in the past and even monthly she really is one
of those ladies that we Facebook message each other constantly, whether from asking each other
blogging questions to «ugh what a day in parenting» rants (haha).
But as it turns out (4
years of blogging later) it's not really mine... I guess I'm coming to terms with that
more and
more these days!

I've been
blogging for
more than six
years, although I only really got my shit together a couple
of years ago and started using social media properly, so it feels like the collaborations have been a long time coming.

How much I've missed you < 3 Since the beginning
of the 4 +
years I've been
blogging, I've never taken
more than two weeks off, until this September.
I didn't put much thought into this whole «
blogging» thing up until 2
years ago when I have come to terms that I care about this blog too much to let it go and that I want it to be
more than some online diary which is just out there, in the sea
of 1 million other active and nonactive, similar blogs.

I have started my fashion blog only a
year ago, because I always thought it was too late to start
blogging, but after I started my blog, I have the chance to do what I am passionate about and I have
more things to be proud
of, its definitely worth it, I think I would regret if I never did it.
I have met SO many rockstar women, moms, entrepreneurs and straight up hustlers in the last
year that after 8
years of blogging, I am even
more inspired than ever to keep creating content and hopefully leave some inspiration here for YOU.
But now that it's the new
year and I only have two
more classes until I graduate in May (YAY!!!!), I promise to get back into the groove
