As has happened nearly every time before with lambing here, we were greeting at
morning chores by the appearance of two new faces!

For three weeks, we led intense discipleship that included:

by the members (with feedback from my wife and I afterwards), application challenges (share your faith with a coworker, serve the other SIMs members, etc.), assignments, curfew, rotating
chores, communal money pot (no purchases can be made without consulting everyone), evening devotionals based on our worldviews, and conflict resolution.
After that, she was called away
by Papa for
morning chores, and as she skipped off merrily, she stopped quickly to turn over her shoulder and say, «thanks for the skirt Mom!».
For example, if they need to be at school
by 8:00 AM, you'll need to have them out of bed
by 7:00 AM in order to make sure they have ample time to wake up properly, have breakfast, brush their teeth, do any other
morning chores, and make it to the bus (or walk to school) on time.
Priming my outlook for the day
by taking a bit of time for myself in the
morning is an enjoyable routine, not a
chore.
