Teaching healthy sleep habits can successfully improve
early morning wake times, middle of the night wakings, sleeping through the night, short naps, nap transitions, getting out of bed, crib to bed transition, bedtime battles, and many more.
I have a boy, almost 10 weeks old at a three hour schedule and doiing very well, with a consistent
morning wake time at 7:30 and dream feed at 10:30 but still waking twice at night.
This sleep regression is real for us — early
morning wake time (4 or 5 am) and multiple LONG night wakings.
Over a period of 2 - 3 weeks, if your child was indeed maxing out on sleep,
their morning wake time should have also followed suit, and be 30 minutes later too.
How does this translate to
morning wake times?
You can begin your strategy by establishing your baby's
morning waking time.
She tailored my daughter's sleep plan to our family's needs, and took great care in making sure the schedule fit the child (i.e. bed time and
morning wake time, making sure my daughter got enough feeding because she is a big eater, etc..)
