That's saying a lot considering that recently
most XBLA games of any quality have been on the 1200 point kick.
With The Walking Dead series, they utilized a combination of a high profile IP (the TV show & comic are both very popular), a low price per episode ($ 5 is cheaper than
most XBLA / PSN titles), and limited time free episodes (episode 1 was free on XBLA & iOS for a limited time and Playstation Plus owners got Episodes 1 & 2 for free for a time).
Originally conceived as a Sega Dreamcast game and later ported to the PlayStation 2, Rez HD is a completely revamped version of its earlier counterparts that keeps the on - rails shooter gameplay intact while adding the graphical upgrade that
most XBLA ports receive.
In mid-July,
most XBLA gamers were focused on the upcoming Summer of Arcade.
Not exact matches
It's arguably the
most ambitious DLC offered for any
XBLA game, and certainly one of the best bargains on the marketplace.
Skulls of the Shogun has suffered multiple delays since I first played it, but the game (thankfully) won't be making its third appearance at PAX East this year: it will finally release next week on January 30, so no one will have to wait too much longer for my

Luckily, Stacking surpassed
most expectations and stands out as an early favorite for 2011
XBLA Game of the Year.
Overly familiar presentation — Playing through The Bridge will
most undoubtedly bring up memories of the aformentioned
XBLA title Braid, and not just because of the hand - drawn art style, either.
The original Shadow Complex was developed by Chair Entertainment and quickly became one of

most successful titles when it launched.

most logical choice is to simply buy Call of Duty Classic on its own when it becomes available on
XBLA and PSN.
Overall: 9 Section 8 couldn't quite make it as a full retail game, but it has found a home on
XBLA offering more content that
most retail shooters at a fraction of the price.
Castle Crashers is still one of the
most popular
XBLA games and was well - received when it was released on the PS3 as well.
Making extremely low budget versions of
XBLA or AAA games is fine but you'd be neglecting the
most important opportunity the indie developer has.
Most of the game titles I'm stoked for weren't even mentioned in their pressers, like the new Castlevania on
XBLA.
4 — Splosion Man (
XBLA)-- Another hilarious game that also ends up being one of the
most enjoyable fast - paced platformers ever.
And then we have the grey Meowburt, who is extremely useful for anyone who wants their knight to be the
most agile they can be, with this little guy giving players +3 or +4 Agility for the
XBLA / PS3 or PC / remaster editions respectively.
Call Of Juarez: Gunslinger, a downloadable Wild West tale of vengeance, half truths and staring down some of the
most ornery varmints to have ever lived, has been dated for May 22nd on PSN,
XBLA and PC.
