dogs will run from the plastic handle «chasing» them from behind and that could cause your
dog to run into traffic and die; h.) have resulted in
injuries to
dogs and owners.
To put this into perspective, the National Center For Injury Prevention And Control at the Centers For Disease Control lists that
dogs were responsible for approximately 30 percent of the nonfatal
bite / sting
injuries in the United States in 2010 (the
most recent year for which data is available).
