I think Giroud is one of the games best plan B strikers honestly, he's a terrific alternative to have and would get into most teams in Europe for that specific function.

goodness i can't believe it people will still defend him.You know something when Giroud misses many chances like at Monaco i did not criticize him even based on that you know why?its because he has always not been clinical.The only way a team can improve is by indentifying its problems and solving them.Arsenal has Giroud as the main cf and Welbeck as backup to him.Giroud has done well scoring some goals some too important but collectively he does more harm than good.Do not use moments to judge a player judge him based on content.Giroud does not excel in many games than he excels in games.As a main cf you need to be consistent.I see people here saying Giroud can not dribble he cant do this he cant do that but its a bit crazy to criticize him for that because every player has his own style.Giroud limitations as a player costs arsenal and will cost us a lot.Most importantly his poor finishing which has cost us several times.Not good enough.His style of play is ok for us but a striker who can take on players and run behind defences very well would make us very strong and also should be clinical.For Welbeck he needs to works on his finishing and composure by doing the basic things right.He rushes infront of goal too much.For now he is just above average.However he can excel if he works on improving.Giroud and Welbeck will always be a pain in arsenal's neck for most part.Some will call me stupid but hey at least i want to analyze the problem.People may support Giroud or Welbeck to lead the line next season but as the saying goes if you fool me once shame on you but if you fool me twice shame on me.Will you let Giroud and Welbeck fool you again?

few weeks back there was an article on here about injured players coming back and helping at the tail end of the season; the article was big on Wilshire and I commented saying Welbeck will be the one I will most look out or because he offers us something different upfront, either as a striker or on the wings, I also said Wilshire does not register on my radar not because he os not good but simply because we have better players in his role and he has not been missed one jot....

Ozil is a fraud for the hype he gets... We need another creative player as we can no longer have carzola most of the times ND clearly ozil is better of a supporting striker nt a playmaker.

He will be on a lot of top clubs radar, most top clubs want a really good young striker with potential but none have snapped him up, only an offer of # 14 $ from Tottenham.

i think its most important that from so many chances created and only a few is scored, we have such a creative team why shouldn't we have equally a good striker to put some more of those chances back of the net and in return win more games

If wenger gets another striker out of this it is most likely going to be someone not as good as giroud, probably vucinic.

True that, we can't swap our most hardworking lethal and best striker we have with a lazy slow judas type of player.

Well that's your opinion.I for one think Giroud is one of the most average strikers to ever play for Arsenal.I would be vindicated by their performances this season.Do you think any top team apart from Arsenal will take Lukaku and Morata over Giroud?I don't see what's so good about him.All he does is turn his back away from goal and hopes a fhance comes his way to score.There's nothing special about Giroud.

There was a lot of speculation about whether the Swedish striker would thrive in the English Premier League this season, with his age and supposed lack of mobility as well as the need to adapt to a different style of football all brought up as possible obstacles, but I think most Arsenal fans will have to agree that the 35 - year old has answered his critics emphatically.

Some think he's horrible, a lot of fans, myself included think there are better strikers out there, but I think the majority opinion is that he's a good striker, not a great one, with a limited skillset and is relatively efficient at getting the most from that skillset both for himself and the team.

Most of us including myself got our vision clouded by the signings of Sanchez, Debuchy and Chambers but it so clear now more than ever that we need a good striker and another player like Chambers who can play CDM / CB.

Spending money to sign Arda Turan will be a waste of money.To me he's world class but he's not what we need at the moment.The most important thing we need in our squad is a new striker and Turan ain't that.It's just gonna be a waste of resources.I really hope Arsene Wenger spends the money he has on a better striker than Lacazette.He might be good but for that amount I think we should be able to get better.

We are the most incompetent club when u think we was playing 4-2-31 and we needed a lacazette type striker to complete the team then we change to 3 -4-3 which ment we needed a welbeck type that's got finishing but instead brought lacazette lol it's a shambles welbeck is are best CF in a 3 -4-3 it's obvious so unless wenger is gonna go back to 4 -2-3-1 lacazette was a waste of money for a club that hates spending money

Ozil is one of Arsenal's kings of assists and produced hundreds of «chances», but most of his assists came from set pieces and most of his «chances» can not be converted by Lacazette (one of the best French strikers today) and Sanchez.

Yes he's not a big name most would love to have but he's one of the best young strikers in Europe.
