I am not crediting God, but I'd rather have a doctor who believes in something bigger than us all, than a cold

atheist do not hate religions at all, if the devout would just stay out of trying to run
other peoples lives there would be no conflict.
Most atheists are very skeptical, but like some people do, some
Atheist believe in
other things like «the god particle», but so far, i never met one... lol
Most, if not all,
atheists don't want to take your religion away (though they don't understand why you'd keep it), they just want you to stop imposing your beliefs on
others.

other hand, it can be fairly stated that
most agnostics are really
atheists that don't want to bother arguing with annoying religionists.
I disagree, although some
atheists can not logically explain their atheism,
most can because they came by it in a very difficult process --- unlike
other parts of the world where it is more «natural.»
Most honest
Atheists are also Agnostic (defining knowledge)... in
other words - I see no evidence to support the notion of a god (s) but can't be sure there isn't.

other belief, lack of belief, group in the entire country, running for public office as a non believer is a sure way not to win, so I running as a christian is the only logical approach to public office if you want to actually win

atheists can no more absolutely rule out Christ either, but the odds are deemed so remote (and growing ever more so each day) that we choose to live our lives as though he isn't real, as

other gods aren't real, and that Allah is not a real manifestation of their God.
Atheists are hated because every religion in the world trains their followers to hate
other beliefs, and to hate the rejection of religious belief the

most obvious example is every time there is an article about religion made by CNN or any
others on the internet,
atheists are there first posting their filthy comments way before any religious people even commented.
Most Atheists I know are happy to let
others believe what they want, up until that belief interferes with them living their lives.

others do for me... I also get
atheist (i might get that more so after today's post)... we wouldn't be on the same page I'm sure... but that doesn't bother me... i still believe in the unity of all things... that at the deepest and
most fundamental level we are connected, one, and that ideas only seem to divide or separate us.
