get better at identifying and responding to the specific
needs of fathers,
mothers and children affected by divorce and separation, a major new survey by a leading UK parenting
support helpline has found.

We just
need to recognize that mixed - feeding

getting all the stress - reduction benefits they would if they were exclusively breastfeeding and

While successfully breastfeeding twins and higher order multiples can be straightforward, it can also be time consuming for the
mother, who is likely to
need good
support at home to ensure she
gets sufficient rest and adequate nutrition (Multiple Births Foundation 2011).
As the babies
get older, workplace
support and facilities may be especially important for
mothers of multiples in long - term maintenance of breastfeeding (Gromada 1998), while further advice and
support may be
needed during weaning to help prevent problems with milk stasis and mastitis (Gromada 1998).
A good midwife does this by offering education, counseling and
support before, during and after the baby is born, by not interfering unnecessarily with the birth process, and by
getting appropriate medical attention for
mother or baby if it should be
needed.
When
mothers get home with their new babies, they
need support from skilled local health professionals and
mother - to -
mother support in their own communities.
The majority of these
mothers wanted to breastfeed for longer but did not
get the
support they
needed to meet their goals.
I just assumed it was a way I would feed my baby but didn't even consider the difficulties or

mother needed to
get through that journey!

get started and keep going throughout their homeschooling journey and ministering to the specific
needs of our precious homeschooled children and young adults.
