Once the iconic massacre scene happens,
the movie picks up a bit of steam, but overall, it is a very poorly put together film.
Like the protagonist,
the movie picks up a bit when stepping away from the non-pressing love triangle established in the complacent first act.

Yes, the beginning was a
bit boring with lots of talking but halfway there the pace is
picking up and I actually really enjoyed the
movie.
The action parts of the
movie were as good as previous parts of the series, and a step
up from Mockingjay part 1, but I did feel as though there were lots of filler scenes where the characters moped around a
bit and lamented over who Katniss would
pick from their odd little love triangle.
There is a
bit of drama thrown in toward the last third of the
movie that drags the film down a
bit, but it quickly
picks up once the big stunt is underway.
Afterwards i threw myself down in the baking heat and read some of Ready Player One, which i probably
picked up a
bit too close to the
movie release but i've avoided spoilers and i'm nearly halfway done now.
Like Dead Man's Chest, the
