I feel like I can start shopping for strollers and getting my son ready to
move out of the crib.
Perhaps they are
moved out of a crib quicker since Baby # 2 will need it.
Most little ones end up climbing into bed with mom and dad when they're

move to his own bed (in our room or his) by the time I had the baby he was starting the nights in his own bed and if he woke up he would come into his cot beside our bed... I let him continue like that as long as he wanted, it took time but I did not push him at all, same with breast feeding I let him make the choice... when I left my hubby (now ex) the boys were both big enough (2 and 4 yrs) for me to be comfortable with them both in bed with me, and I was still nursing my younger one until he was around 3.5 yrs old, so we just had a big bed with us all piled in, I miss those days so much: (so how did I finally get them both

out of bed sounds awful, but since you're CLEARLY not getting enough sleep with her next to you ANYWAY, I'd definitely suggest
moving her to the
crib and trying some gentle, gradual extinction - based sleep training.
If you must
move your toddler
out of a
crib, room, or any other big change, start working on it when you are about halfway through your pregnancy.
Use the same calming techniques and
move the chair progressively farther from the
crib every third night until you're outside her room and
out of view.
We spent this past weekend getting our TV mounted on the fireplace so that we can eventually get rid
of our entertainment center to make room for the rocking / glider chair that we will have to
move OUT of the nursery (through the window, because it won't fit through the door mind you), so that we can then fit
crib # 2 into the nursery.
We have
moved and reorganized most
of the furniture, but we still need to install the car seat, bust
out all the old baby gear, put together the new
crib, and get things set up so we can relax until he makes he grand entrance.
