Rather, this game is as
much Dynasty Warriors as it is Dragon Quest — and that is in no way a bad thing.

What makes the experience that
much more frustrating is there are apparent attempts to put trademarks of the franchise into the
Dynasty Warriors style of gameplay, but none of them reach their full potential.
It's not so
much a new take on the Legend of Zelda series, as it is an inclusion of the Zelda universe to the
Dynasty Warriors series... Just sayin.
Enemies in
Dynasty Warriors 9 are largely combo - fodder, with health bars that are constantly red and offer no indicator as to how
much life they have left.

much like many modern action RPGs with the decision of how to proceed being left entirely to the player.

much more that the game could do, but it seems content to stay relatively the same as previous

Essentially, while the scores of combatants won't cause you
much harm, the main challenge is
much the same as it has been since the release of
Dynasty Warriors 2 some 17 years ago.
The stages themselves are
much the same as you'd expect from a
Dynasty Warriors game — as this is an expansion, the gameplay retains all of the same mechanics as before, crunching your way through thousands of enemy soldiers on large battlefields as you take down various officers to complete objectives and win the battle.

The one thing I found a little unusual is how
much I felt like I was playing Zelda at times when walking around various cities — there is a song that plays that sounds just like it belongs within a Zelda game rather than
Dynasty Warriors.

Dynasty Warriors with a fresh coat of anime paint, and not being a fan of the One Piece franchise didn't help

Dynasty Warriors 8 Complete Edition.

Dynasty Warriors games, however, your mercenary is pretty
much useless alone.

In regards to gameplay, the core mechanics are pretty
much the same thing we've been doing for years, which is slaying dozens of soldiers and officers in an attempt to defeat the general, expect this time it's packed with the latest features from
Dynasty Warriors 7, such as switching between two weapons mid-combat, the ability to summon a horse at any time, a rage meter that'll put your character in an overpowered state with a
much more power musou attack and more.
General consensus among the gaming population seems to be that the game will basically be a Zelda flavoured repetitive hack «n» slash,
much like the core
Dynasty Warriors titles.
Sadly, The enemy zombies look significantly less impressive
much like the cannon fodder (I mean soldiers) in
Dynasty Warriors.
