web browsing, the main reason you'll tend to see higher
web browsing numbers from the Kindle Fire is that there are far fewer apps available for it, which means that you're pretty
much stuck going through the
web browser for many of things that you can use an app to do on the iPad.
The new Kindle Fire boasts a full colour screen using similar technology to the iPad and has a touch screen, full
web browsing, video, music and email capabilities so it is
much more flexible than the earlier models, but why have something that's like an iPad when you can have an iPad?

much better, but it won't reach what you can get on an iPad (about 10 hrs of video, etc...).

Its also faster, it does have a dual core processor but not just that the

In all honesty I'd choose the Xoom over the iPad 2 any day of the week, mainly because of the Honeycomb OS, the fact that it's so
much easier to transfer files to and from it, the better
web browsing experience with full Flash support, and the fact that all my purchased apps will work on a whole plethora of Android devices, not just one specific brand.
