much about atheists, you should be able to itemize the sins each of us is allegedly engaged in.

much on their own, but as a group maybe, but it requires you to stop thinking

Atheists have beliefs that there is no God, perhaps no one can convince them otherwise, but my thing is, why talk so

atheists insist that atheism does not drive behavior, and then then campaign on behalf of atheism, ridicule religion and religious believers in the name of atheism, seek to change laws in favor of their atheistic positions, recommend the extermination of religion, and practice falsehoods like Dawkins's in support of atheism, they prove that their atheism drives their behavior and that their premise is false, disingenuous, and (as far as I can tell) useless for anything but giving atheism rhetorical cover from being implicated in
atheists» atrocities.
You can be an agnostic or an
atheist when it comes to religion but it's
much more difficult when we're talking
about the World Cup.

I didn't know other
Atheist were in my community, but the more I talked
about it and researched it the more I realized there are
much more of us out here than I thought, more than the 3 - 4 % I am sure of it.

much down the middle, with
about 50 % of scientists being
atheist (or agnostic) and 50 % being believers (or otherwise NOT
atheists).
IOW, your point is really, like our
atheist friends, that
much of the above is
about not being able to prove the assertions religion makes.

atheists is that you fail to acknowledge that your absolute «certainty» there is no God, is very

I'm not sure I understand a) why atheism is mentioned in response to an article on abortion (since
atheists also take both sides on this issue), and b) why there is so
much fear and stereotyping

Also, it sort of invalidates your comment
about feeling sorry for
atheists when 1) you are also on this blog so you have
about as
much of a stake in this as any
atheist here and 2) if agitating christian ranks only takes asking for proof and debating religion in a coherent matter, christian foundation must be pretty shaky indeed.
I think you'll find most
atheists care
about others and the world around them
much more than people of dogma.
to J.W. and fred — i think its rather silly to argue anything as fact if its cleary thought based (i.e. lacking proof / evidence) when asked
about the where did we come from or how the universe (whatever) i always answer with i don't know, but then i pose an idea — i state openly thats its only an idea... if any one of you religions folks would simple agree to the FACT that what you BELIEVE is real is REALLY only an idea until proven (
much like evolution) then i would find
much more pleasing conversations beyond the realm of

atheist: The fact that you think A messenger of God is going to punish you on judgment day pretty

much you know
about a religion you say you were a part of.
When believers stop saying stupid things in public and stop trying to change laws because of their books - of - stupidity,

I also find it interesting that
atheist talk as
much or more
about God than most Christians I know.
As they worked through this change, Jason and Alise discovered that there was
much more holding their marriage together than pulling it apart, and they began to work in their faith communities to bring
about a greater understanding of what the others actually believe and to bring
about a better dialog between

I can't prove God's existence just as
much as scientist can't prove the big bang... there is evidence of both but to reach a conclusion takes faith... one side leaves hope and the other does not... maybe I'm agnostic too because I don't claim to know everything
about why I'm here, I have to have faith... Honestly, I'm sick of the extremes on both sides... the conservative judgmental Christian, who never thought through things as to why the believe what they do (ie Dinosaurs, cavemen, evolution, etc.) and the intellectually arrogant
atheist and humanists.
Plus that number is probably shrinking because belief is rising during these hard times.The only reason you hear

much is there are some truly obnoxious

People complain
about Christians evangelizing, when
atheists love to try to push their beliefs on others just as

Ok now I know most
atheists are live and let live and couldn't care less
about what other people believe, but whenever you get defensive and wonder why «theists» often call atheism just as
much a religion as Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, etc look at things like this.
Atheists can try and lie
about it and convince themselves as
much as they can that this is not true, but at the end of the day nothing can hide the ice - cold bitterness of their hearts and incensed rage at anything that does not line - up with their worldview.
It is of course somewhat petty to care overly

atheists at such a time, but it is difficult not to be annoyed when a zealous skeptic, eager to be the first to deliver God His long overdue coup de grâce, begins confidently to speak as if believers have never until this moment considered the problem of evil or confronted despair or suffering or death.
