chocolate with a sweet smelling peppermint stick, here are some fun facts

I would
much rather write
about yummy baking experinces... Especially when it involves espresso cookies with caramel filling and matcha green tea cookies with
chocolate middles making.
I will, however, still pay for their carrot cake truffles,
chocolate pound cake, raw macaroons, raw cheesecake, raw oreos and rum balls, so I wouldn't worry
about them losing
much business.
Baked oatmeal is almost like a breakfast cake (one you can feel good
about) and it's super adaptable: you can add pretty
much anything that suits your fancy, like bananas, peanut butter, or even
chocolate chips.
Fortunately I added in
about a half cup of dark
chocolate chips, so the end result was good - the
chocolate added the
much needed sweetness that was lost with the forgotten maple syrup...

Anne, I've been thinking
about the same thing and decided dipping them would be too
much (but if no one's watching, I would totally go for it:D) and just drizzling some melted dark
chocolate, while they are still on the baking sheet would be a better idea.
It'll just make it that
much more enjoyable when I don't have to worry
about looking good in my dress anymore, and I'll be able to face plant into one of these
chocolate chunk skillet cookies.
There's just something
about adding
chocolate to a recipe that makes it so

So I have been trying to cut out
chocolate for
about a week now and failing pretty
much daily lol?
And I may or may not have gushed in my sign up email
about how
much I used to love their glutenous cookies and that I was crazy
about the fact that they use Fair Trade
Chocolate.
I'm not one to complain
about desserts being too rich or too dense, but it was certainly a nice surprise when this flourless
chocolate cake baked up
much lighter than the typical flourless cake... the whipped egg whites helped create a cake with an almost mousse - like texture.
Ok well, there is going to be a small amount of sugar in the
chocolate, but if you choose wisely it should be such a small amount you needn't worry too
much about it.
Lay the cookies out on a foil lined sheet (make sure it's small enough to fit under the broiler if your broiler's in the bottom of the oven) and top with a square or two of
chocolate followed by a marshmallow and broil for
about a minute, making sure nothing catches on fire or burns too too
much.

I just kind of winged it to do the other half as
chocolate - I had a dark
chocolate in mind but I did nt have
much on hand - maybe 4 oz of bittersweet dark (baking)

about 1/2 teaspoon or so... and it doesnà «Â» t hurt to try the raw dough to see if ità «Â's spicy enough, please donà «Â» t tell me youà «Â've never tasted raw dough before!
