Motorcycles are a way of life for many, and get
much better gas mileage than other vehicles.
(Somewhat analogously, perhaps, to the North American auto industry, whose technology could have delivered
much better gas mileage long ago, but which chose instead — rationally driven by consumer preference, it must be said — to hold mileage more or less constant but to ramp up power.)
I get
much better gas mileage than my last vehicle, plus has all the options I want.
It gets
much better gas mileage than the aforementioned Cherokee did (24 mpg average versus 15 mpg), and runs very smooth to this day.
However, I do know that Corvette owners like to brag about how
much better their gas mileage is from the standard rating so I am sure we'll hear about it from a new owner or two at one of the upcoming Corvette shows.
Probably my biggest con is that it doesn't get as
much good gas mileage as I would like, but I do most of my driving around town which lowers it compared to highway driving.
Not exact matches
Interior is plush, leather seats, wood grain accents, satellite radio, heated and cooled seats, IPOD connector, sunroof, large trunk, Harmon Kardon premium stereo, parktronic, MB bluetooth,
good gas mileage for V8 and
much more.
It improves compression, and in turn
mileage, by forming a
better seal around the top piston rings (
much like a two - cycle engine that has oil mixed into the
gas).
It's a
much more pleasant place to be, and returns
better gas mileage as it's not sitting at 70 mph at 3,500 rpm.
Alright, let me be honest and tell you a few things that I dislike about this car: -
Gas Mileage (Hyundai claims it gives you 25 mpg in the city, which is not true, I get not more than 23 mpg in the city for sure)- Traction Control (The traction can not handle the acceleration and the wheels would start spinning, even on the dry roads, not sure what to blame)- USB port - The built in USB port does not support android, at least not in my case, therefore I have to rely on Bluetooth or AUX)- Dull Alloy Wheels - The dullness of alloy wheels for the SE trim does not compliment the car over all, but eh, I can't complain much as it is a BASE model Now, the things I absolutely love about this car: - Great Turn Radius - Beautiful LED lights (even with base model)- Highway mileage (35 mpg even driving at 75 miles an hour, you might get better than 37 mpg if you drive at 55 miles an hour)- Spacious trunk - Great leg room for rear seats - Just enough power to accelerate quickly and merge on to the highways / freeways - Amazing Brakes - Sports, ECO and Normal Mode (For those who do not know, once switched to SPORTS mode, the car's steering becomes stiff as well as the engine along with the help of transmission helps you accelerate the car faster, you actually feel like driving a spor

Though the styling is not
much different from the original models, both are more aerodynamic, have new interiors, get
better gas mileage and run smoother and quieter than last year's models.
Definitely
much faster with
better gas mileage.
The V - 6 has adequate power, but my
much more powerful Azera gets
better gas mileage.
In short, for
much less money, one could have a vehicle only a little smaller than the «now big» Gran Fury, with similar performance and interior space but considerably
better gas mileage — indeed, for many,
gas mileage would double with the move to the «four bangers.»
It also gets pretty
good gas mileage, around 25 - 30 mpg on highway and not too
much worse in the city.
Many car buyers simply want a new, reliable, safe, and affordable vehicle that will last a long time, get
good gas mileage, and won't cost
much money to own and operate.
Unfortunately for Nissan, things don't fare
much better when it comes to
gas mileage, where the 2012 Murano is rather unremarkable in this department.
I like how
much room there is in the car, and that it does have
good gas mileage.
Among minivans, only Mazda 5 gets
better gas mileage (21/27 mpg), but Mazda 5 is a
much smaller vehicle.
For the money, I could have gotten
much more reliable car with
better gas mileage and a bigger back seat.
The AC is lacking punch, The steering is ultra light, the handling even with SE trim is floaty, build quality is
better than last gen but not by
much, the brakes are pretty
much dead if one must make a sudden stop from say 50 mph, lots of fade, the
gas mileage is horrible even when taking it easy on the engine.
The
gas mileage of the 302 5.0 is
much better than the E-250 van I use to own, but that is understandable since it was a 351W and had to pull a lot of weight.
Gas mileage seems pretty
good for a small SUV (Very small) Bad: Fit and finish Seating position is hard short Seats The telescoping steering wheel is worthless it rattles You can't see out of it, and the parking sensors indicate you are too close at nearly 2ft from something It's slow (The Volt feels like a corvette in comparison) It's expensive (There are a lot of
MUCH better options for less) Due to it's shape you can't get anything in the hatch area Controls aren't
well laid out..
I was hoping for slightly
better gas mileage, but can't complain too
much about it.
Fact is, there's not
much better for this kind of work, except maybe a minivan, which would get
better gas mileage and might make third row access a little easier.
Towing is great, and the fuel
mileage is
much better with the diesel engine as opposed to the
gas model.

The
gas mileage is
much better than our Explorer, which we traded for this car.
Gas mileage is not perfect but
much better than old car by a large margin.
It is early but performance has been great, wife loves it and
gas mileage is
much better than the Volvo XC 90 I traded in.
And incidentally, a lot of average citizens like me wonder if things like buying cars with a bit
better gas mileage and switching to CFL and LED light bulbs amount to
much more than pissing in the wind.
