If he wants to stay out of
diapers, you should try to put as
much of the
clean - up on him as is reasonable (maybe give him a layered bed with towels and protective pads layered so he can just take the top one off after he changes his pajamas, and no comforter).

they are an absolute must for travelling.they do nt take up
much space in the
diaper bag, and they save a lot of time and effort when

While these stools are often messy and difficult to
clean, applying a small amount of ointment to your baby's bottom will make

We use a combination but I do feel that my natural fiber inserts /
diapers / flats

Most cloth
diapers do not require
much more care than your standard clothing item: just like
clean and dirty clothing, dirty
diapers need to be stored separate from
clean diapers; just like clothing, stains will occur and need to be treated; just like clothing, if left in a pail, they will begin to smell (though we do concede to the fact that a cloth
diaper pail can smell
much worse than a dirty clothes hamper.).
However, most ECers find paying attention to and pottying a baby
much easier and faster a process than
cleaning up a
diaper mess.
As it turned out, we didn't actually need
much: a small, portable booster seat that attaches to a chair (
much cleaner and more comfortable for baby than restaurant high chairs, also suitable at homes we visited),
diapers (we usually resorted to disposables when we were traveling, even though we used cloth at home), a few bibs, clothes, a sling, a sippy cup (after six months) and a few toys got us through our trips.
This
diaper spraying combo has made
cleaning crap super easy and doesn't take up very
much storage space!
You can also purchase biodegradable liners (pretty cheap) that go inside the
diaper to catch the poop, makes
clean up
much easier.
Probably not I mean you could survive without one, but it does make poopy
diaper clean up
much better.
My baby was almost 10 pounds at birth, so I didn't get quite as
much wear out of them as I had hoped due to his ultra chunkyness lol but the
diapers were
clean, fit great, held in ALL messes, and were great for a first timer like me.
These are so
much better than disposable wipes I can
clean up a poop
diaper with one wipe and with disposables I'd need to use a bunch.
As
much as I love
clean smelling
diapers, I love reducing the odds of my house turning to ashes even more.
Anything such as websites, where to buy cloth
diapers and roughly how
much they cost as well as how to
clean them and put them on baby, all these would be a great help.
I find I really don't care too
much what kind of unnatural stuff I'm using on the
diapers to strip, as long as it washes
clean and WORKS!!!
We do cloth
diapering and
cleaning poo out of cloth wipes is just too
much.
