Like Kat a few comments back, I enjoy a slightly
grainy hummus,
much like I prefer a
textured whole - grain bread to Wonder bread.
Grainy texture (even when swapping half of the flour for regular flour) and not
much flavor.
Watch out for: Too
much rice flour (unless it's super-fine grind) can produce a
grainy taste and
texture and can make baked goods crumbly.
One of the downfalls with these protein powders is the
grainy texture, however this seems to have
much less of this characteristic when compared to others.
Too
much produces a burning sensation in my throat and it can affect the
texture of baked goods making them stiff or even a bit
grainy.
This particular flour is just so
much better for getting that delicious chewy
texture due to its super fine grind — so
much better than the
grainy other almond flours out there.
I paired this pleated midi skirt with a
grainy sweater because the combined
textures make, what could have been a bland outfit,
much more chic and interesting.
