Overall, Middle - Earth: Shadow
of War progresses beyond the
high quality standards set by Shadow
of Mordor through expanding pretty
much every gameplay feature, while refining the finer points that received constructive feedback from its prequel such as introducing
difficulty levels.
The (semi --RRB- permanent damage taken differs with each
difficulty level, so on the lowest one, the Way
of the Acolyte, you'll start most encounters with almost full health, while you have to face
much less and weaker enemies than on the
higher difficulties.
Xcom offers masses
of replay - ability
much in the way that StarCraft does by being able to play through the game again using different tactics whilst playing at
higher difficulty levels.
Moreover, the
difficulty becomes
much higher when one
of them is actually blind, which adds a whole new
level of challenge for both parties.
Even at the
highest difficulty level, regular enemies don't pose
much of a threat.
