Why is something of a mystery since the Tab's 1024 x 600 resolution makes for
a much higher pixel density than the 10in iPad, yet side by side there is no comparison.

The S6's display is the same size as the S5 but boasts a
higher resolution and
pixel density resulting in a
much better experience.
The
pixel density should be around 216
pixels - per - inch, not quite as
high as the iPad 3's Retina display, but not far off either and it should be significantly clearer than the first - gen Kindle Fire and
much of the rest of the competition.
At 9.7 in, the
higher resolution screen has a
pixel density of 264ppi -
much better than the current iPad's 132ppi, but not quite up there with the 326ppi iPhone 4S «retina display».
I think the technical output could bring us
much more than
higher density pixels at this point.
The
high resolution and
high pixel density of the Nexus 7's panel makes video watching, photo viewing and web browsing that
much more enjoyable.
Thanks to the same resolution but a smaller display, the
density on the Honor 7 display is
much higher at 424
pixels per inch and this definitely shows, with the Honor 7 display appearing sharper to the eye.
