Pam Leo in her book Connection Parenting talks about tantrums in such a clear and concise way that it's hard to misunderstand how some of these little (or in my case,
hurricane force) storms seem to come without
much warning.
Hurricane -
force winds resonate across the rusty deserts of Mars, although they generate only about as
much noise as a modest breeze blowing through Earth's far denser atmosphere.
However, many scientists believe that,
much as in the case of
hurricanes, higher sea temperatures resulting from the greenhouse effect could strengthen the
force of El Niño events and increase their rate of occurrence.

Hurricane Katrina nor the climate changes over the past 4 billion years give
much information as to what has happened over the past 1,000 years.

Clearly it would take a
much larger amount of heating (
forcing) to drive a
hurricane in the molasses atmosphere than in the air atmosphere.
There are few
forces of nature that inflict as
much damage or terror as
hurricanes.
