I since found this vegan cauliflower recipe which has
much longer cooking times at lower temperatures and suggests flipping the crust to cook on both sides, which would make a lot of sense after what I experienced.

Essentially, I no
longer recommend
cooking much above 350 degrees using any type of fat or oil unless it's a special occasion.
I tried to make this with brown rice, forgetting that brown rice takes
MUCH longer to
cook than aborio rice.
I assume lentils won't take as

much water should I use to

cooked version from Trader Joe's, but honestly, the uncooked version doesn't take all that
much longer to get tender, so any type you can find can be whipped up quickly.
