I've been making it
since I first learned to bake and I just love how
much moisture shredded zucchini adds to the quick bread.
This is a great strategy for cookies and squares
since it also doesn't add
much moisture.
Might not need as
much water
since the water in the grain cereal adds
moisture.
You could easily use honey, and reduce that just a bit (not nearly as
much,
since it already has a
much lower
moisture content than maple syrup).
And
since coconut flour absorbs so
much moisture, a little goes a long, long way.
I've never tried making my own puree, but I have friends that have and it tends to make recipes a little more wet
since there is so
much moisture in the pumpkin.
(I purposely used dried herbs
since I wasn't adding
much binder to the meatloaf and I didn't want added
moisture.)
You can also use an all purpose wheat flour or gluten free flour, but make sure to double the amount
since they don't absorb as
much moisture.

Since there is so
much beet puree in the recipe, which is basically like applesauce in terms of adding
moisture and replacing fat, I wouldn't recommend swapping the oil / Earth Balance with applesauce.

You would definitely need a
much lower amount of coconut flour than almond flour
since it absorbs more
moisture.
But if I just stayed all day in my house
since I'm a freelancer, I work from home, I don't double cleanse because too
much cleansing may strip off
moisture in my skin.
However, turkey meal contains several times as
much protein as whole turkey
since it has been dried and most of the
moisture has been removed.
Dogs on a dry food only diet obviously require
