I've spent so
much of my journey focused on my own
nutrition and training, but because so many mommies reach
out to me for help with their own kids & family I figured it was about time to expand my posts, stories, and recipes even more.

out there — My big question is that I have read in several places that it is essential to presoak nuts, grains etc before consuming them due to high amounts of naturally borne enzyme fighting tannins which can wreak havoc on the human digestive system.

much of my «knowledge» from advertisements and tricky labeling!

out even more, and this is one of them.

out in the air, food, water, soil and you're going — you're going to come across stuff and it is just about what do you do to increase your resilience against these things once you kill them off, like you said was some of the post infection support, you know, people may hear — hear this and think oh kill, kill, kill, but eventually we're strengthening us, too, as the host and so that's why you and I, you know, maybe we take an extra day off or we go spend some more time in nature because that's the stuff that's going to heal you in the long term.
The reason that top athletes don't all eat plant based is because there is just soooo
much misinformation
out there that sports
nutrition has just accepted as a given without question for decades, especially as it relates to protein.
I feel it requires more effort in planning your
nutrition and a little more effort to eat as
much is required for the higher calories needed for someone who works
out hard but it's definitely doable.
Our
nutrition education in medical school was woefully inadequate (see Dr. G's video on that), and doctors are often just as confused as patients are about what they read, because there is so
much misinformation
out there about
nutrition and the latest fad diets.
The challenge is that there is so
much advice
out there it can be confusing to really know what good
nutrition is.
A few days ago I read that scientists had a analayzed the milk of a certain kind of roach that emits milk from the abdomen and it turns
out to be
much more nutritious than any animal milk, with all the aminos, pretty
much a complete
nutrition.
The
nutrition community of that time completely accepted Keys» hypothesis, and encouraged the public to cut
out butter, red meat, animal fats, eggs, dairy and other «artery clogging» fats from their diets — a radical change at that time that is still very
much in force today.
However, if we zoom
out and take a broader look at
nutrition, we'll find that it's a
much easier situation than it has been made to...
Focusing seriously on
nutrition yielded
much greater results than the months I spent sweating it
out on the elliptical.
I find so
much confusing but well - researched advice
out there about
nutrition.
I'm also working on an eBook that will discuss healthy skin from the inside and
out — often times, skin issues are deeply rooted in internal imbalances and need to be addresses through
nutrition and wellness as
much as through external skincare.
I'm a nurse so have some knowledge of
nutrition and metabolism, but OMG, there is too
much information
out there that it's confusing.
The seeds are little
nutrition powerhouses, and we lose
much of the
nutrition when we just press
out the oil.

out there who feel better with a little more protein in their diets than what's recommended.
Much has changed in
nutrition science over the last 10 years, but there is still a mountain of misinformation

What this means is that instead of controlling for specific factors in a lab,
much of our
nutrition research is simply based upon surveys and questionnaires sent
out to the public.

New research is coming
out pointing to too
much fat / protein (which is what makes up meat) and too many calories as well as the wrong foods — low
nutrition foods — that are causing increases of these cancers, esp prostate.
I made many mistakes when I started working
out, things like overtraining, thinking doing chest 4 times per week is what made me grow, I had no idea about
nutrition so all in all if I would have known then what I know now many things would be different and I would have got to my goal
much sooner!!

Here's the deal on
