I find that many quick breads like this have too
much oil and butter in them.

A lot of recipes I've seen have
much more
oil or
butter and lots of sugar — both of which pack on the calories.
:D I can never really leave a recipe alone, so I added
and changed up some things: 1 / 2c honey -LCB- fresh from a hive upstate -RCB-, a handful of oats, a couple dashes of ground ginger, 1/2 as
much butter -LCB- unsalted -RCB-, with some walnut
oil to compensate,
and some extra burbon.
I'm normally very wary of American recipes that call for peanut
butter (definitely have a
much lower tolerance for the stuff) but without the peanut
oil and using the 1/3 cup as indicated in the recipe, it was absolutely perfect.
Many with Alzheimer's lose their appetite
and won't eat, so if they prefer the flavor of coconuts over peanut or almond
butter, then maybe they will get some
much needed fat into their systems if they eat the coconut
oil while they are refusing the nut
butters.

and then I came across this recipe from The Prairie Homestead, which not only uses coconut
oil but also substitutes honey for sugar.
Plus, anytime you roast the nuts before making a nut
butter, that just releases the oils more

much easier without have to add your own
oil.
The same ingredients could be sautéed together in the
butter or a little olive
oil and served tossed with freshly cooked pasta, wilted spinach
and a little grated parmesan for a
much more appetising
and lower fat meal.
The software gave these brownies a nutrition grade of D. I can only imagine what the nutrition facts of regular brownie recipes are out there would be because they for sure use
much more sugar, white flour
and butter rather than olive
oil.
I still can't quite believe how thick, fluffy
and non-gummy these turn out without any
oil,
butter or eggs — they're a really great hearty
and healthy option for any meal,
and the crumble baked into the bottom of each pancake pretty
much cries out for whatever fruit you have on hand.
I love using the coconut
oil instead of
butter,
much healthier
and tastes better!!!!

The first steps in making this version are pretty
much the same as when making regular coconut
butter, except this time, we're not only adding unsweetened shredded coconut to the bowl of our food processor, we're also adding coconut
oil and a little bit of salt.

much of the
butter and oil mixture in the pan as possible.

much one of those throw - everything - in - a-bowl kind of thing,

Hi there... I was very interested in this recipe since I am trying to ingest more coconut
oil on a daily basis
and I find it too
much like just putting slightly better tasting shortening in my mouth... well this is a bit like putting bitter
butter in my mouth..
I liked mine with just a little
butter (well truthfully, the Land O'Lakes spreadable
butter with canola
oil)
and Jesse liked his plain (though of course he said they'd be just that
much better with icing, haha).
The mini cupcake / brownie is only about 40 - 50 calories because there is no
oil / eggs /
butter,
and the topping is only about 20 - 30 calories because there's not that
much of it!
All peanut
butter is not created equal... mine did not have very
much oil so I added a few tablespoons of coconut
oil to the batter
and that did the trick.

Your food processor must be
much stronger than mine, because it took more like 15 or 20 minutes to get it to turn into «
butter,» but I practiced patience (as you noted)
and it got there eventually —
and I didn't have to add any extra
oil.
Having liked them so
much (plus the fact that I love experimenting), I did another variation of them today that was great — I added 1/4 cup of peanut
butter instead of the
oil,
and chocolate protein powder instead of the flour.

If you minimize the water in this recipe (using only as
much as you need to blend it smoothly)
and perhaps blend in a little extra coconut
butter or some coconut
oil, then refrigerate it until it's thickened, it'd make a nice creamy dessert topping!
Even something like peanut
butter may help the body absorb the turmeric since curcumin is fat soluble,
much like vitamins A, D, E,
and K. Turmeric is the most bioavailable if heated in
oil.
The fat (
butter and coconut
oil in this case) are liquids here, but they act differently then water based liquids
and don't help out too
much in saturating the flour.
If you like peanut
butter cups as
much as I do, you'll be thankful for this recipe which uses healthy ingredients like raw cacao, coconut
oil, powdered peanut
butter and honey.
We think coconut
oil, extra virgin olive

much better options.

oil is so good, I found I hardly needed to sweeten the filling
much.
I used

much they way I made them, I doubt I'll try them with

Almond Flour For almond flour, I prefer to use a blender or coffee grinder, as the chop is finer
and keeps the nuts from releasing too
much of their natural
oil which will make it more of a flour texture as opposed to

much healthier, less processed version with hazelnuts (or hazelnut
butter), cacao powder, vanilla extract, coconut
oil and sugar,
and salt.

much healthier by adding grass - fed
butter, collagen, MCT or coconut
oil,
and even herbs like dandelion.
With all organic ingredients including shea

Butters will either be a solid or a liquid, depending on the heat,
much the same as coconut
oil and butter, if exposed to sunlight
and or warm temperatures.
