out of the girl's closets — maybe... We will see how
much of that gets done, but it's good to have a goal!
I've got so
much inspiration, knowledge and great recipes from this blog hop every
week and I really hope you get as
much out of it as I have.
While I'll take a night
out at Mi Cocina for dinner any day

week, it's probably not the best option for me, seeing as how I admittedly don't have
much portion control when it comes to Mexican.
I haven't tried carb loading yet because it takes me so long to actually get into ketosis, if I was to throw me

I've been putting off posting this recipe for apple pie for
weeks because I could not for the life
of me figure
out how I was going to squeeze into one blog post exactly how
much a celebration
of imperialism and genocide over a feast
of dead animals makes my heart hurt.
-- grilled chicken and rainbow greek salad with rice or bread or potatoes — baked maple garlic salmon with rice and some sort
of green veggie (kale, broccoli, cucumber salad)-- homemade burgers from the freezer on the grill (every couple
weeks)-- unfortunately, eating
out far too
much — so so so busy!
You may not see
much of me for the next
week or so, I will be trying to make my way
out of the mountain
of boxes and organise things in my new place.
While I originally said I'd be doing a
week of giveaways, I decided to spread them

of May... because a month
of celebrating is

much any tomato - y base to make baked eggs but because I'm all about quick fixes during the
week, I got Prego Italian Sauce (this Roasted Garlic & Herb flavor is the absolute bees knees) during my weekly Walmart run because it tastes homemade, has the perfect amount
of sweetness to balance
out its savory notes, and is gobbled up by Warren and the bambino with equal fervor.
The site is several states away and we are arriving a
week early to help
out with decorating, etc so I wonder if I make and freeze these ahead
of time, defrost them the day before, would it be better to just reheat them in crock pot, or would it be better to freeze them after browning and cook the day
of the wedding in the crock pot (not sure how
much time I'll have) Thee will be about 140 people so would need a few crockpots!
Before we get into it though can we just talk about how
much bigger and
out of control popsicle
week gets every year?
I like to go all
out as far as desserts but I figure so long as those are not part
of daily life, we're doing pretty good (and no I do not usually eat
much of the cakes I bake every
week, I just enjoy making them, I try a couple bites for taste testing purposes and that's about it.
The macnut cheeses firm up pretty
much overnight in the fridge, and with cashew cheeses, you can just let them hang
out in the refrigerator for a
week or two and they'll naturally firm up and form a bit
of a rind Russell's cheeses are awesome — I hope you get his book!
So that's it, that's my standard vegan fridge, it wouldn't tend to vary too
much week by
week, and in terms
of other fresh food I would have bananas, mangos and avocados on hand too which I tend to keep
out of the fridge.
