I didn't add
much water, just the juices from the roasting tin, as I like soups to be thick, and realised that way it could also be used as a perfect sauce for
pasta too.
I don't think I'll make it like
pasta though... I like to keep as
much of the original nutrients intact, finding a good
water to quinoa ratio would prevent the loss of vitamins and nutrients which would be left behind in the «
pasta water».
It should be sticking to the
pasta and kale so don't add too
much water.
The
pasta will store
MUCH longer this way and will be perfectly cooked when you reheat it (which, when camping can be done by throwing it into some boiling
water for a few seconds or, more easily, by mixing it with the sauce or garnish over the heat for a while).

pasta will be
much chewier using whole wheat flour, and it will probably need a bit of
water to pull it together.
It will seem like too
much for the
water, but with a stir or two, the rabe should wilt and cook alongside the
pasta.
You want it to thin the sauce just enough that it coats all the
pasta, but not so
much that it
waters it down.
Use as
much or as little of the
pasta water to get the consistency of the sauce that you like.
Transfer the almost cooked
pasta to the sauce (chefs would cook it in a strainer to make it easy) and add as
much cooking
water as you deem necessary.
If the
pasta absorbs too
much liquid, you can add more
water (1/2 cup at a time).

pasta and breads and things like that so
much... Fruit and Veggies are your best bet, with a mixed or oat cereal... stay away from the rice cereal that seems to make a bm
much harder... And lots of
water!

I seem to exist happily at around 100g of carbs a day although I don't get the endurance benefits that I had when eating no carbs, 3 hour rides on only
water, my FTP is
much better when eating some carbs, sweet potato,
pasta, soup.
