There's not
much to speak of in the way of ports and extras: a Micro-USB port for connecting the Reader to your computer for syncing and charging is located on the bottom next to a
small Reset
button, and a stylus slot and sliding
power button are on the top.
Speaking of which the
power button will flash green, amber and red when being turned on to indicate how
much charge is left, and you can also check out the software where a
small icon indicates, Weirdly, though, the software indicator only shows you battery life in chunks rather than a more precise percentage.
The
power and eject
buttons, originally a pair of thin, black
buttons on the front, are now
much smaller and rest on the «lip» of the console, in front of the disc drive.
Under that you'll get the
power button and five
small LED lights that let you know roughly how
much battery is left.
