I don't find it
spicy at all either, but then again I can eat some
spicy food without a problem, but I honestly can't even really tell that there is
much heat to this.
I like things mildly
spicy — I want to taste the
food first — and just added a bit — not
much — more black pepper as I thought it fit so well with the eggplant.
Some people handle
spicy food pretty well and others not so
much, so I always say add less and taste.
A few members were put off by the thought of Mexican being
spicy and too
much for those who can't eat fiery
foods but we all discovered, happily, that we made some great recipes and no one needed antacid after the meeting!
(If you do not love
spicy food, just add as
much chili oil as you are comfortable with and not the entire half - teaspoon, as it is very
spicy.)
So
much so that my husband who typically stays away from
spicy food said he didn't mind the heat whatsoever and I could definitely make it again!
Maybe it was just the particular Serrano chiles that I got, but the broth was inedibly
spicy, so
much so that I ended up removing most of the first batch of broth, subbing in some chicken broth, and then replacing most of that with new broth (and yes, I really like
spicy foods)!
I keep mine mild because my husband isn't into super
spicy food, but feel free to up the heat with as

I thought I would suggest it as I know how
much you love
spicy food.
In various nursing support groups I'm in, I've heard moms ask how many times they need to «pump and dump» after eating crab legs, or lament how
much they miss
spicy foods, as well as many other unfounded complaints about dietary restrictions related to breastfeeding.
While the risks are
much lower with
spicy foods, it doesn't mean that the indigestion or heartburn is welcome — it's not.
Some say breast milk changes flavor based on what the mother is eating, so if a mom is eating
spicy food already, serving it to the child isn't
much different.
While a few
spicy foods here and there can actually be good because this will introduce your son or daughter to different types of tastes, you should be mindful of how
