back I'm also amazed just how
much sugar we were consuming on a weekly basis through those recipes (eeek!).
While I didn't shave off
much of the
sugar, I did cut it
back by about 3 tbsp but since I ended up with more ice cream, I guess mine is
much less sweet.
But, I've been feeling so
much better that I've started to gradually add some things
back into my diet including the occasional berries and apples (low -
sugar fruit).

My own experiences
back this up; compared to consuming a globule of raw honey, I always find that the classic energy crash resulting from an earlier blood

much larger with a sugary chocolate bar.

If you want to get your energy levels
back, eating too
much sugar is one of the worst things you can do.
Think
back, for just a belly - aching moment, at all the
sugars you consumed yesterday for Thanksgiving, such as cookies, cakes, alcohol and SO
much more.
Plus, I find my body works so
much better on a lower protein diet than it ever did on the super high protein diet I used to eat
