As I mentioned earlier, if you have not yet
entered an irreversible pathologic state, there is still
much hope for treating functional blood
sugar disorders.
As the problem escalates, blood
sugar can not
enter the muscles, nervous system, or organs as easily as it should and
much of the food energy gets channeled into the fat cells and weight gain comes very easy.
I am feeling
much better and hope that my body will come to terms that
sugar and carbs are not
entering the system
much again.
Jake, in addition to the blood
sugar issue that grain / cereals can create (way to
much glucose
entering the blood stream) it would be very interesting to see people's reaction in regards to seeing what occurs with their body temperature and pulse rate, i think those two markers can also provide a very good insight on how well or badly a person is reacting to grains / cereals, mainly oats in this case.
When large amounts of
sugar enter your bloodstream, your body tries to deal with the issue by releasing insulin — lowering your blood
sugar (sometimes too
much!)
The
sugar from the carrot
enters your bloodstream
much faster!
Testing your cat's urine for
sugar spillover is a
much less accurate way to keep track of your cats condition because
sugar does not
enter its urine until its blood
sugar level is quite high.
