much sugar is added to the stuff you buy in the shops, and it is super easy to
make it can be whipped up and baked all in half an hour

I
made some small changes that didn't effect them too
much such as reducing the brown
sugar down to 1 cup and increasing the white to 1/2 cup.

make the «3 ingredient» recipe with 1/2 light brown 1/2 granulated
sugar and vanilla but these really are SO
MUCH better!!
By adjusting how
much homemade red grape syrup (concentrated from store - bought no -
sugar - added grape juice) you pour over your piece, you can
make it as sweet as you desire.
I
made a couple of changes that
make it a
much more body friendly treat, exchanging half of the white flour for whole wheat pastry flour and decreasing the
sugar by using apple juice to help sweeten the filling.

Take care using too
much of the color however, because it will
make your
sugar too wet and may cause clumps or uneven color if over saturated.
My daughter likes to
