I read the problem could be contamination, too high of a mineral
content in the
water (but that makes grains slimy and mine are not), overcrowding (but the jars were pretty
much the same, with the proportions in the recipe above), or a lack of nutrients (but again, the jars were the same).
I am taking in
water, and adequate fat
content but I feel my protein intake is not as
much it is supposed be.
A maple syrup or honey could also be used but the butter will absorb the

much is used.
The resulting cheese depends on a number of factors including the balance of fat, protein and milk sugars in the milk which varies by animal (e.g. sheep milk is about 9 % fat and 5 % protein, whereas cow's milk has about 4 % fat and 3 % protein), the bacteria used, how the curds are processed, how long the cheese is kept before eating and how
much water is left in the cheese (soft cheese contains over 45 %
water, hard / semi-hard cheeses contain 30 - 45 %
water, and dry hard cheeses such as Parmesan have less than 30 % moisture
content).
The greater
water content in canned food (up to seven times as
much as dry food) can help meet a pet's
water needs and reduce how
much water it needs to drink.
Keep in mind that the
water content is included in the original weight or volume — when the product is cooked, or rendered, the actual weight might be
much less.
Gradually reduce the
water content of the gruel so that by 4 to 6 weeks of age your puppy will be eating as

Fresh chicken contains about 80 %
water so, in its fresh form, its volume is
much larger than it is after it has been cooked — after cooking, the actual meat
content is a fraction of what its original weight was.
Whereas fresh meats contain up to 80 %
water, most of the moisture
content has already been cooked out of meat meals so they are a
much more concentrated source of protein.
In cats, this is best achieved with feeding a canned diet because the

Chicken usually sounds better to most dog owners but if the

Canned food has a

In general, canned wet food has a

Fresh chicken contains up to 80 %

I am finding it increasingly frustrating to watch the veterinary community continue to be fixated on the pH of cat urine and the presence of urinary crystals instead of focusing on the
much more important issue of dietary
water content.
Two maybe three years ago I bought a bag of Chicken Jerky at Cost - Co thinking it would be a healthy treat for my Pug, after eating these treats I noticed he Mugsy would drink
water like he could not get enough... Then one night he kept coming to me with his ears laid back and hanging with a look in his eye that I knew something was wrong, went to my daughters house as she is really into dogs and hoping she could figure it out, well she noticed he could not pee no matter how
much he tried, so rushed him to the vet, thank God, had I waited he would have died as his bladder was full of crystals and was near rupturing, anyway the vet catheterized him after putting him under anesthesia as it was so painful, after all was said and done and $ 1, ooo.oo later, he ended up on a special diet which we kept him on for well over a year... decided to try a good, but less expensive dog food, had his urine checked and he was doing fine... I believe it was the chicken jerky and the salt
content, but of course I can not be sure and I do not remember the brand... Thankfully he has had no more occurrences, needless to say he does not get chicken jerky anymore and definitely nothing from China at least not that I know of.
