Perhaps I should have
worn dresses, make - up, fancy hair - dos, told the world how
much I lurve Jeeeesus, and then it would be ok to have an affair
with the pastor, like I have seen another woman do.
Further back in history, however, and higher up the social ladder, medieval royal brides
wore dresses consisting of as
much material as possible: velvet, damask, silk and fur woven
with golden thread were used in vast quantities for wedding days.
We talk about things like the «pink aisle» and the «action figure aisle» and «character clothes» - my kids don't have barbies or princesses or superheros or spongebob shirts... because who wants to play
with an already
dressed princess in a ready - made molded plastic castle when you can build a castle or design your own
dress and who wants to
wear spongebob on their shirt when he's a grumpy guy and the tye - dye shirt you make yourself is
much cooler?
I'm pretty
much obsessed
with the ease

worn and styled.
It's not that I didn't
dress myself when I was on maternity leave, it's just that pretty
much everything I
wore was equipped
with lots and lots of elastic.

with the wedges and print bag, I can see this

much everywhere for summer.

Striped Basics are the best... I picked it up on the same day as this
dress and I know how
much you loved that one, but I'm not really doing this striped beauty any justice as you can't really see it, though it's a great little comfortable piece for
wearing with sneakers and also layering it up like I do here
with different textures and tones.

Jenny mentioned that it was a bridal shoot - I hesitated for about half a second because Jonny and I are like an old married couple now, and thought that could could be a little silly, but then realized that the shoot coincidentally coincided
with our two year anniversary which made playing
dress up
with my forever groom that

with a spring / summer vibe and

dresses you're showing... and isn't it funny... if I'm

They are reasonably priced and are perfect to fill your closet along
with heavy and costly lawn
dresses which make you worry by the chance of being spoiled
with daily
wear and too
much wash.

dress in (4)-- for the same price (6) a knee length, Romance Was Born silk shift three sizes up so it sits away from the waist — again — its all about «a'll the better to eat dinner
with, my dear», in a huge, wild sunflower graphic print before graphic prints were trendy: it's giant sunflowers against an intense turquoise background (7) a calf length caftan cut
dress that I made from Japanese printed silk my mother had bought and kept for sixty years (it's just a giant square
with a hole fro my neck and two for my arms, and has the best drape EVER owing to its being silk)

I was talking about how
much I love this flat shoes trend, but
wearing military lace up boots

dress and biker jacket was my dream outfit.
I like a good mule because you can

Today shawl is fetching an important piece of fashion even the young fashionable girls are used to

I have a black faux fur coat from last year that I've
worn so
much — I love that it looks fancy when paired
with holiday
dress ensembles, but it's just as easy to
wear with casual winter staples like knitwear & denim.

dress by Bri Seeley and my new Saint Laurent Jane Sandals which I'm pretty
much obsessed

dress reminded me how
much I loved them... so, I
wore them again the next day!
And the knit upper is stylish enough that I actually
wore these in Italy last year
with casual
dresses and didn't feel like I stuck out too
much as a tourist.
