dive sites are proper macro /
muck diving sites (only located 20 - 25 minutes away) and if you are interested
in macro diving I could not recommend it more since it is the best spot around the Gilis for macro diving.

This trip started with the famous
muck diving of Ambon to finish
in Raja Ampat 12 days later.We encountered a lot of Sharks, starting already at the check
dive with a couple of Cat Sharks.
But there are other attractive
dive sites such as pinnacles with enormous groups of schooling pyramid butterflyfish, triggerfish and pelagic fishes such as tunas passing through, spectacular hard coral reefs next to the volcano, and great
muck dives with lots of mandarinfish
in the local jetty.

Bayu's Place
in the Menjangan area of Bali is a rubble, coral, and white sand
muck dive site loaded with Pyjama cardinalfish, ghostpipefish, several species of gobies and shrimps, and Mandarinfish (often seen
in daylight!)
