muffin recipes call for cinnamon that they all taste the same after a while.
Most
muffin recipes call for a fairly small amount of filling for each cup.
It's one of my pet peeves too that all the bran
muffin recipes call for bran cereal and an exhorbitant amount of sugar.
I've also been totally annoyed at bran
muffin recipes calling for store - bought cereals.

As for this one, I had all of these things in my house (minus two of the bananas for which the
recipes calls — I used 2 bananas, but I made up for it with double... ok triple the bourbon) and I whipped these up into some mighty tasty
muffins.
Since I have gone gluten free, I have noticed that a lot of
recipes for baked products (i.e. breads,
muffins, cookies, etc.) seem on occassion to
call for flax meal.
Tip: While the

muffin pan will do.

If you're using a
