TPCR found Samsung's
multi-window viewing capability to be a great additional feature, noting it adds to the usability of the tablet by allowing users to
view two
apps at the same time to increase multitasking ability.
The software has the usual Samsung TouchWiz tweaks so there are some added features like ultra power saver mode and
multi-window view that lets you have two
apps open in the same window at the same time (doesn't work with all
apps though).
The notification pull - down menu has 20 different options, from Airplane Mode to Toolbox (which toggles a button that toggles a list of
apps you might want to open, which is not to be confused with the multitasking
view or the
multi-window view or the
app drawer).

To get this feature going, just long - press the recent
apps button, but this will only work if the developer of the
app in question has enabled the
multi-window view feature.
It will also bring the
multi-window view which will enable users to switch between multiple
apps and also run two
apps side by side on the same screen.
That means any
app you download can use it unless the developer of the
app writes it so that it tells the system no when you try to move it to a
multi-window view.
Use
multi-window view: To
view two
apps at the same time, hit the recent
apps button, find the
app you want and hit the icon looking like two boxes at the top of that
app card.
Firstly, open the two
apps in
multi-window view as described above.
Pair that with the
multi-window view and you've got yourself three
apps running side - by - side.
You can't just run any
app in
multi-window view, only the
apps on the Multi Window bar Samsung provides.
When you go to your main recent
apps view, you'll see a new
multi-window layout that replaces the old card - based
view.
