It strange that developers don't make certain features for Wii u. I'm sure it will sell great in a couple months, and by then developers probably won't cut features for
any multiplatform games coming to 360 and ps3 also.

On many occasions, systems that are notoriously difficult to develop for have ended up getting the short end of the stick when it
comes to
multiplatform games since developers only have limited resources.
This proves just how important it is to have the right team when creating a
game for any system; this really is the issue when it
comes to
multiplatform games — split resources.
Microsoft have been hard at work flourishing their money under the noses of developers again as they've proudly announced that Sine More, a
game developed Digital Reality and Grasshopper Manafacture, which was originally going to be
multiplatform, will be
coming exclusively to Xbox Live Arcade on.....
This anger is said to
come from a variety of places: the lack of 3rd party support on Nintendo consoles, in which most
multiplatform games skip Nintendo \'s platforms entirely; in the rare occasion that there is 3rd party support, it
comes in the form of botched or downgraded ports, often missing all DLC support and being the last version to receive much needed patches; and finally, the indirect and unintended humiliation of the Nintendo fanbase from company executives and public relations employees who run off their mouth a bit more than some would like.
Ah well, there's still plenty of awesome
multiplatform games to look forward to in the
coming year.
Unveiled at a recent
gamer day event in Germany, the only solid information available is that the new
game is
coming to «next gen» consoles, suggesting a
multiplatform release on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
It has seen a comparative drought of new releases and those
multiplatform games which do make it to Nintendo's machine often
come late and missing features.
Switch will
come out with probably one of the most acclaimed
game all year, PS4 has tons of amazing
games already out and
coming out in the next 6 weeks, Xbox got some
multiplatform games.
I'm not sure what the future holds for them as the WiiU struggles to gain traction, third party publishers look to keep their
games multiplatform, and release droughts which are
coming for the platform.
When PSN does eventually
come back up I'll return to my usual trend of getting
multiplatform games for PS3.
Granted we still don't anything about what's
coming to the Wii U, those other major
multiplatform games should have some presence on the Wii U. It's just the confirmed anti Nintendo conspiracy at work for a 4th gen in a row.

The extreme sports title was touted as a
multiplatform game just last week, and was revealed that it would be
coming for the PS3, Wii and Xbox 360.
Most of the aforementioned third - party /
multiplatform games are
coming to at least the PS3 or PS4, but there aren't nearly as many exclusive «AAA»
games for Sony's platforms in November.
Going forward, it will be interesting to see how their software sales break down this
coming year - but it is at least easy to see why publishers continue to invest in
multiplatform game development.
