Cats that go outside or reside in
multiple cat households require vaccines against the common respiratory viruses (rhinotracheitis, calicivirus, pneumonitis) and panleukopenia (FVRC / P vaccine) as well as against feline leukemia and rabies.
These litters may
require more frequent changing and many not be the best option for a
multiple cat household, as they are not pretreated with baking soda, and do not always control odors very well.
