cases has not disclosed its members, raising
questions about who funds the nonprofit organization and what relationship it might have to other parties.
If a
case is particularly difficult to follow, I often have a conversation with my students
about what aspects of the writing made the opinion so challenging for the reader.37 We explore
questions pertaining to the opinion's organization, its lack of a roadmap or other helpful contextual clues, its overly long paragraphs that contain
multiple legal points, or its ridiculously long sentences with numerous embedded clauses.
