Studies in rabbits indicate that several things can happen
under extreme or prolonged stress including; a drop in body temperature, a drop in blood pressure, damage to the kidneys, loss of appetite,
stomach ulcers, cardiomyopathy (heart
muscle disease) and ultimately death.
