Laura has written some fabulous
books, both fiction (historical fantasy and cozy
mystery) and non-fiction (dog training), and has had her story «And Only the Eyes of Children» published in World Weaver Press» FAE, the anthology I recommended in my last

So in this
blog post I want to give you a simple framework and acronym for how to think about
book marketing that will take some of the
mystery out of the process.
I'm a writer first, and to me, that means all the writerly things I do and have done from the old Star Wars
book to new fiction I'm writing (from the romance short to the Diving universe to the historical
mystery I just finished for the next Lawrence Block antho) to this
blog and all the nonfiction.

Alternatively, if you're writing fiction — a
mystery novel — you could review
mysteries on your
blog, and talk about
books in general.

For example, if you write

mystery authors.
«In other words, you don't read historical
mystery, don't follow my work, don't pay attention to any covers beyond hyper - marketed bestsellers, don't even read the
blog post but I'm supposed to redo everything to please you and make my
book look like something it's not.»
