I didn't notice at the time but my grade one teacher was rather broadminded when she introduced us to islam and buddhism along with christianity.
And i do like the idea of karma, so in that sense, i lean towards hindu more then buddhism, but i don't adhere to either.
For instance, good karma is regarded as much of a bad thing as bad karma and so true buddhism isn't necessarily about helping your fellow man or others, its about leaving this world behind to get to Nirvana.
