Hello I am Debbie from England... rediscovering the joy of
cooking and how good simple food can make you feel... my favourite food does
nt come from a specific part of the world but is any simple home -
cooked recipe made with fresh local ingredients... if pushed though I would say the Italians are probably masters of this!

The amount of food on the tray will affect the
cooking time, but as long as the ingredients fit comfortably on the baking tray and it's
not too overloaded, the
cooking time shouldn't alter too far from the
recipe.
I'm a great
cook and followed the
recipe, so
not sure where the missing link is.
I've had a similar experience... without wanting to sound negative, I have made a couple of the sweet
recipes and did
not like them at all (the choc chia cookies and sweet potato brownies)... I have made quite a lot of raw or
cooked «clean» deserts that tasted great but these were
not good at all.
Mary Jane's
recipe is based on one by the Barefoot Contessa (Ina Garten), but the shoeless TV
cook wouldn't dare to use red chile powder!
Medjool dates are the best as they're much sweeter and stickier so make
cooking a lot easier — these are what I use in all my
recipes and you may find if you use normal dates that the
recipe doesn't work as well.
I have
not had the pleasure of
cooking from her
recipes yet, but I love to take advantage of seasonal veggies like fava been risotto.
As I'm always
cooking and
recipe testing it's impossible for me to stick to a meal plan, however, if you know your routine then this can be a great way to reduce your food bill as you won't buy new ingredients every day.

recipes actually got me excited to
cook, and use so many ingredients that I love, and
not always know what to do with.

Second question I have struggled to find raw uncooked beetroot, would beetroot from the supermarket
cooked in its own juices (it doesn't list any other ingredients) work in your
recipes instead (I think its either steamed or boiled can't quite remember), I just really want to make your beetroot and buckwheat risotto!
I love chocolate and sweets and I am
not a very good
cook, but I am going to try out your
recipes and hopefully they will help me change my ways for good.
I think it's definitely worth a try and yes they would
cook the same way, I think for this
recipe they would work absolutely fine but maybe
not for something like the sweet potato brownies which requires that sticky sweetness of sweet potatoes!
I also found that I didn't need to
cook it for as long as it stated in the
recipe.
my Mum and i aren't the best of
cooks, even so, this
recipe was super easy to make and super yummy.

I stuck to the
recipe and it was fine, I found the blue berries and banana kept it moist but it wasn't the same texture as normal pancake batter, much more like a wet peanut butter prior to
cooking.
In short, what it means is — a new website is indeed on the way; I'll be taking more
recipe photos and like - it - or -
not (I am camera shy; selfies for me, are an evil born to torture me) videos of my baking and
cooking recipes and hope they will inspire you and come more to life when you see some of the
recipes being demonstrated on Youtube.

The whole point of creative
cooking is to be inspired by existing
recipes not copy them exactly.

Really appreciate this budget food section as a student can
not afford to
cook many of the dishes despite them looking incredibly appetising and while a lot of blogs will do a post with a couple tips for eating healthy within a budget this seems pretty unique — its great to see a practical application of them in
recipes and on a recurring basis — if this was any indication of what's in store then i'm super excited!
It is so inspiring to hear that healthy
cooking and eating is helping you return to life again, and I can't wait to get started with some of Ella's

Hey Erica no of course that's a legitimate question — I don't put grapes in smoothies as much as other fruits simply because they're
not as nutritionally dense and I just tend to mostly
cook with the fruits which I love the taste of — but that the great thing about the
recipes, and especially smoothies, you can use it as a guide to add things you have in the fridge or whatever so I'm so glad you're adding different things!
Unfortunately, our cuisine isn't very healthy — loads and loads of meat, white flour and potatoes, so I really enjoy
cooking and be inspired by yours colorful and delicious
recipes which ALWAYS turns out so great that everybody is licking their fingers for another portion.

You don't see most of what I eat online and most of my meals are far from beautiful, I often eat quick
cook porridge for dinner, jars of peanut butter with a spoon for breakfast, tubs of hummus with slightly stale rye bread on the tube for lunch and a few too many trays of
not - quite - right brownies when I'm

Yes that isn't a problem at all, just make sure that you
cook them at 30C or dehydrate them until hard again before you use them for this
recipe, as it won't work if the nuts are too soft and wet.
I used brown rice flour for these and they taste really good although I
cooked mine for 50 minutes and they still weren't fully
cooked on the inside, but I think I have a bad oven or something lol because baking
recipes I try never come out how they are supposed to

cook's part, but manage to come out a perfectly jammy and satisfying mess almost every time.
