Not sure if you already commented on this but if I didn't cook it in a slow cookers and just the oven, would it all be the same process and what heat / how long should I cook it for?
I wouldn't cook it in the slow cooker, but you could definitely use it to keep it warm after it is cooked!

I went on the hunt for something delicious that could
cook in my
slow cooker during the day and need little attention but
not taste bland or overcooked.

not be easier to throw
in the
slow cooker before rushing out the door

in my experience, so I don't like them for baking though they are perfect for typical

I haven't been sent one of the ones with a metal insert, but I think you could saute onion and spices right
