I think it's so normal to see people
not dressed for the weather in America (just going to the store or out to pick up their mail), but everyone here seems to get some kind of announcement about what to wear cause they are always on appropriately dressed haha!
I learned quickly that they don't dress for the weather, but rather the season.

Yes, the
weather is still cold and
not nearly as proper
for Spring time but I'm also very tired of the Winter clothes and I have realised that I got so dull about
dressing like a snowman so I've decided to freeze just a little bit more but have much more fun with my daily outfits.
I have been obsessed with stripes all my life and I can't wait
for the
weather here in Vancouver to warm up so I can also wear my favourite maxi
dresses.
Not only was the maxi
dress perfect
for the hot and humid Charleston
weather, but
for a fashion blogger, I was able to incorporate my outfit with the beautiful colorful behind me.
The kimono is fab
for the current transitional
weather as the dark floral print is very autumnal but it's also a nice light alternative to a coat, there's nothing I don't love about the
dress, and all of the accessories are very versatile!
In the coming weeks I will share another OnceWas street style look, ready

for now though, I could
not go past this relaxed silk
dress with beautiful sheer sleeves.
I'm
not giving up on a thought of Summer yet being over since the
weather had been amazing in Helsinki and from what I «hear», there is an extreme heat - wave streaming throughout the whole Europe... but I just can't stop thinking about Fall and
dressing up
for the most stylish season!

Why we like it: It may
not feel like spring but it's officially here so we've decided to
dress for the
weather we want, at least on our faces.

weather can become monotonous — button - down, jeans, flats, and don't forget the umbrella.
My suggestions
for how to stay warm, first off wear a skirt that is meant
for cooler
weather — that sounds obvious but I can't tell you how many women I see with skirts or
dresses of thin, flimsy fabric.
My
dress is also great
for the warm
weather because it's paper thin but
not see - through.
And
dressing for the hot
weather can be easy on the weekend when you're
not afraid to show a bit of skin, but
not when you want to look appropriate
for the office.
Living in Finland and the U.K. means that I can't take hot
weather for granted, and summer
dresses spend more time in the closet than in the sun.
I can't wait to style this
dress for cool
weather too.
And I can't help but reach
for only
dresses during the warm
weather — they're cute & keep you cool!
However, the official arrival of spring doesn't necessarily mean that the days will instantly become sunny and warm, it usually takes a little bit of time before the
weather is adequate
for sun -
dresses and sandals.
These pictures were actually taken 2 weeks ago when it was a bit chilly in the morning but warm in the afternoon, so this blue Trapeze
dress that I bought when I was pregnant with my daughter (see what other «tricks» I did so I didn't have to wear maternity clothes here) is just perfect
for that kind of
weather.

for denim cutoffs because I'm still
not ready to let go of warmer

A turtleneck underneath any
dress gives it the winter stamp of approval before people start to question whether or
not you're a lunatic
for sporting bare arms and legs in 20 degree
weather!

Warmer
weather has us all reaching
for the brights in the back of our closet — but since it's
not quite summer yet, we're loving the way Kate tempered her poppy - red drop waist
