I've been wanting to put together a Summer wishlist since a while now, but for some reasons it really didn't feel like Summer was going to come around until just a few days ago.
Seriously, doesn't feel like summer is quite over just yet too!
It's July, and while life never shows any sign of slowing down and it doesn't feel like summer with all this fog and morning chill, I'm back in action.
While it's definitely cooled down a lot here, it doesn't feel like summer is going away any time soon.
At the minute, unfortunately, it doesn't feel like summer in Ireland, the weather hasn't been great for the last week.
Since it really doesn't feel like summer yet in Chicago, with highs in the 60's and getting into the 40's at night, I can still make comfort food like this, since we don't need the air conditioner on yet!
It might
not feel like summer now but I am hoping this rain will stop eventually just in time for the first long weekend of the summer.

summer vegetables that they're picking from their gardens and when fall gets here all of the colorful, flavorful fall vegetables don't get nearly as much attention as they deserve.
I think this is best enjoyed as a snack, or maybe a light meal for the rare warm
summer days when we don't
feel like staying in the kitchen for more than five minutes.
Labor Day weekend always
